AFnet brings renewed hope to the people of Africa
For more than 30 years, AFnet has worked within the continent of Africa through strategic networks and partnerships. Having seen first hand the impact our ministry has on the people of Africa, we are ever-encouraged to push forward, continuing the Great Commission set forth to us, raising up leaders, strategically planting churches, and caring for the children orphaned by AIDS, so that His work and kingdom may be multiplied on earth.
What others are saying
Thanks to the support of our partner churches and organisations, AFnet is able to contribute to the schooling and clothing of orphans affected by the AIDS pandemic in Africa. Listen as these partners tell you about their experience.
Founded in 1979, ECFA provides accreditation to leading Christian nonprofit organizations that faithfully demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, transparency, fundraising and board governance.
Support AFnet’s Mission
Help us to train the leadership in Africa, plant churches and prevent children from falling victim to their circumstances.
This principle was drilled into me during my own preparation for ministry. Therefore, training and equipping Christian Leadership, obviously has been part of the chore pillars of our Mission focus and strategy from the beginning. And so, as we look back over the past three decades of active engagement, we find fulfillment in the knowledge that through our efforts, AFnet has engaged at some level of training, directly or indirectly impacting the lives of tens of thousands of Church and active Christian Laity.
Providing for the daily needs of our orphans, in itself, is a significant challenge. But we also receive regular special needs requests. Recently I got a letter from Bishop Mumba who, among others, oversees the Zambia Center, asking that we consider bringing on board an additional staff member.
Standing at the forefront of a new year, we feel enthused by the opportunities that lie ahead, knowing that we can make a difference. AFnet is about hope and change. And so, we want to remind you, but also illustrate just a few of our success stories. We hope that these will encourage you in your role as partner, supporter and co-change agent in this great task of bringing on going hope to the people of Africa.
